Instrumentation Engineer
Provide maintenance and engineering support for field instrumentation and coordinate with control systems engineer to achieve business and operational objectives.
Responsible for the engineering of instrumentation in the plant.
Responsible for supporting the control Engineer for trouble shooting the plant issues.
Responsible for providing technical support during engineering/commissioning and start-up.
Responsible for validating all specified requirements have been fulfilled.
Responsible for ensuring documentation related to modifications is updated.
Work with the Project Team to develop instruments requirements of all projects and modifications; supervise and implement the works according to the schedule and requirements.
Able to identify the different types of instrument cables and work according to the specifications
Basic Knowledge about different types of control valves/Field transmitters- construction and maintenance.
Must be familiar with test equipment like Multimeter, Loop calibrator etc.,
Able to understand the instrument loop problems.
Familiarity with P&ID Diagrams, Loop Diagrams.
Experienced and familiar with various phases of project works such as engineering, fabrication and commissioning.
Familiarity with Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Protection relays with knowledge of electrical distribution systems is added advantage.
Knowledgeable in field instrument and control valve, practical experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and 2D Autocad.
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, major in Control and Instrumentation is preferred.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience working with various field instruments.
3-5 years working experience in the refinery or petrochemical industry or power plant
